Gladiator models equipped with gasoline powertrains get a V6, 3.6-liter engine that generates 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Consumers have a choice between the manual six-speed and the automatic eight-speed transmission. The turbocharged V6, 3.0-liter diesel version offers 260 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque and comes only with an automatic transmission.
Each of the six different trim levels adds to the number of structural and technological features that may include steel or alloy wheels, powered door locks and windows along with heated exterior side mirrors. Other features include side steps, a removable soft-top, a premium stereo and heavy-duty, off-road features.
